Shalimar Knitfab Private Limited

We are situated in the Belvedere building, which is part of the Akshaya complex out in Guduvancheri. Being on the GST Road means there is always noise from the buses and trucks zooming past, but inside Shalimar Knitfab Private Limited at C3-302, we’re focused on the knitting work. It’s a bit of a different setup being in a bigger building like this compared to a standalone shed. We have our space organized with the knitting machines on one side and the packing area on the other. Kancheepuram can get incredibly hot, and even with the windows open, the air doesn't move much. We mostly deal with local orders and keep a close eye on the fabric quality as it comes off the line. The staff usually brings lunch from home, and we all sit together in the small break area. It’s a friendly enough place, though we stay pretty busy most of the week. There’s always someone coming in to check on a shipment or to drop off new materials. We’ve got a good view of the surrounding area from our floor, which is nice when the sun starts to go down. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and make sure the bundles are ready for transport by the end of the day. It’s a steady life and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the neighborhood and the constant traffic.
