Sankara Eye Hospital

Sankara Eye Hospital is located right on No.1 Third Cross Street. It is a narrow enough street where everyone kind of knows where everything is. If you walk down the block, you will see the sign and the entrance. It is just a regular hospital building, nothing that stands out too much from the other structures on the street. Inside, the floors are usually tiled and there is that specific smell of a medical place. People come and go throughout the day. Some are there for quick tests and others have to stay longer. The Third Cross Street location makes it easy for folks living nearby to just walk over. We have a lot of people who come in because they live just a few houses down. It is a busy little spot. You might see people waiting on the steps or leaning against the wall outside if it gets too crowded inside. The staff is mostly local people who know the area well. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. It is just desks, chairs, and the equipment the doctors need. Sometimes the street noise from outside filters in, but mostly it is just the sound of names being called and people talking quietly in the waiting area. It feels like a neighborhood fixture. Everyone knows the building on Third Cross Street. It has been there, doing its thing, for quite some time now.
