Sakthi Pharmacy & Clinic

Sakthi Pharmacy & Clinic is over in Poonamallee, specifically on Avadi Road in Seenirikuppam. If you know the area, we are right across from the Indian Bank and not far from the EB office, which helps people find us. It’s a combined space where we have the pharmacy side and a small clinic for when people need to see someone. Most of the day is spent sorting through boxes of medicine and making sure the shelves are stocked up properly. It’s a busy road outside, and we get a lot of people stopping by on their way home from work. The morning starts with a bit of cleaning and getting the prescription pads ready. We have a few chairs for people to wait in if the doctor is busy with someone else. It isn't a huge place, so it can get a bit crowded when four or five people come in at once. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that; it’s mostly just us doing our jobs every day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to rely on the backup, but that’s just part of living in Chennai. We know most of the people who live nearby in Seenirikuppam. They come in for their regular blood pressure pills or just to ask a quick question. It’s a basic setup that works for the local crowd here. We keep it simple and just focus on getting the right medicine to whoever needs it.
