Sai Screens

Down in West Tambaram on Venkatesan Street, you will find Sai Screens. We are a small operation, mostly doing printing work. If you walk down the street, you can usually hear the sounds of the machines or smell the ink in the air. It’s not a large place, but we fit everything we need inside. People come to us when they need cards or simple printing jobs done. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough that most of the local shopkeepers know us by name. It’s a busy part of town, especially with the station nearby, so there is always movement. We spend most of our time at the back where the actual printing happens. The front is just a small desk for taking orders and talking to people. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Usually, someone just walks in with a sample of what they want. We look at it, tell them if we can do it, and give them a time to come back. Sometimes we run a bit behind if a machine acts up, but we try to stay on top of things. It’s a lot of manual work, moving frames and checking colors. We prefer it that way, honestly. It feels more real than sitting behind a computer all day. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving so customers aren't left waiting. We've been at 41 for many years now.
