Saai Foundation

Saai Foundation is located over at No 153 in Palkalai Nagar. If you know the Palavakkam area, we’re quite close to the KFC on the main road. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the beach breeze if the wind is right. We started this because we wanted a place to work on our community projects and foundation goals. The building is simple, nothing too modern, just a space that works for what we need. We spend most of our mornings planning out things and talking to people who drop in. There’s always a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, but we keep the inside tidy enough. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here, not like those high-pressure offices in the city center. We drink a lot of coffee and talk about how to get things moving. Sometimes we have volunteers coming in and out, which keeps the place feeling alive. The address is easy to find once you get into the lane. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to answer phones with a script. You just get us. It’s a small operation, really. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. If the gate is closed, just give it a push, it usually sticks a bit in the humidity. We’re usually here until early evening doing the work that needs to be finished.
