S S Import & Export

We operate out of Iyyapanagar West, near the Collectorate area here in Kanchipuram. Our office at No. 7/23 is pretty basic, mostly just some desks, a couple of landline phones, and lots of folders. Dealing with import and export means we spend a lot of time waiting for news from the ports or checking on where a truck has gotten to. It can be a bit stressful when things are stuck in customs, and there isn't much we can do but wait and make more calls. We aren't a massive logistics firm with a huge warehouse. We just handle the paperwork and the coordination for the goods moving in and out. The area around the office is usually quiet, which is nice compared to the busy market parts of town. We’ve got a small team, and we usually eat lunch together at the desk. Sometimes we have to deal with different time zones, so one of us might be here quite early or late. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or a big lobby. It’s a practical space for practical work. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for years, and we just talk to them like neighbors. If you come by, you’ll probably see us staring at spreadsheets or arguing with a delivery driver on the phone. That’s just a typical day at S S Import & Export. We just try to keep things moving smoothly.
