S Boopathi Sthapathi & Sons

We are over in Pammal, specifically at No 9/5 on 2nd Cross Street in Krishna Nagar. S Boopathi Sthapathi & Sons has been around for quite a while. It’s a family-run thing, which means there is a lot of history in how we do our work. Being sthapathis, we deal with a lot of traditional designs and specific ways of building that have been passed down through generations. Our workspace isn't a modern office building; it’s more of a place where tradition meets the daily grind. We have tools and drawings scattered about, and there is usually a lot of discussion about the right way to handle a project. Krishna Nagar is a quiet enough spot for us to focus. We don't really go in for marketing or big advertisements. Most people find us because they know the family or have seen what we’ve done elsewhere. It’s about doing the job properly and respecting the craft. Whether it is a small renovation or something more traditional, we just take it one step at a time. The sons are involved now too, keeping the whole thing going. It's just a local spot where we work hard and try to stay true to what we were taught. If you come by Pammal and look for the 2nd Cross Street, you’ll find us there, probably busy with some new set of plans or a sculpture. It is just a normal day for us.
