Our office is located on the second street in Natesan Nagar. It is in the Iyyappanthangal area of Chennai. If you know where Rudhralayam is, we are right there at S9. We have been doing engineering work from this spot for some time now. It is a quiet street mostly. We deal with various technical things and projects that come our way. Sometimes the work involves a lot of drawings and calculations. The office isn't very large but it fits all our tools and the computers we need. Usually, we are busy on the phone or looking at site plans. The power goes out sometimes so we have to wait a bit. People in the neighborhood know us as the engineers down the road. We don't do much advertising because the work keeps us occupied enough. It is a lot of checking and re-checking numbers to make sure things are solid. My desk is covered in pens and old coffee mugs. We take our time with the tasks because engineering is not something you want to rush through. Chennai gets very hot in the summer so we stay inside mostly. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. It is a straightforward way of working. No big meetings or fancy presentations, just the real work that needs doing every day. We are happy with how things are going here in this part of the city and we stay busy.
