Rapak Traders Private Limited is located at 33, Chengalvarayan Othavadai Street in Pillaiyarpalayam. Being in Kanchipuram, you’d expect things to be a bit crowded, and this street is no exception. It’s one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful when two bikes are trying to pass each other. Our building is a simple one, nothing too modern, but it serves our needs for the trading business. We spend most of our time dealing with paperwork and checking the inventory that comes in and goes out. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or houses, so it feels like a real community. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the locals know us by now. Sometimes the heat in Kancheepuram gets a bit much, especially in the middle of the day when the ceiling fans are just pushing hot air around. We usually take a break then and grab some coffee from the shop at the corner. There isn’t a lot of space for storage, so we have to be really organized with how we stack things. It’s just a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s answering the phone or moving boxes. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just open up the shutters in the morning and do our trading work until it’s time to close.
