Raje Juice Center

Raje Juice Center is located at No:108, Anna Salai, Pammal. It is just a small shop on a busy street. We have a counter with all the fruits piled up in baskets. You can see the oranges, apples, and pineapples right as you walk by. It’s not a fancy cafe with air conditioning. We just have a couple of ceiling fans and some plastic stools for people to sit on. The noise from the traffic on Anna Salai is always there, but we are used to it. We start early in the morning by washing the fruit and getting the ice ready. The blenders make a lot of noise throughout the day. We don't have a printed menu with fancy names for the drinks. People just ask for what they want, like a plain sweet lime or a mixed fruit juice. We try to keep the place tidy, but when it’s busy, there are always some fruit peels around. My nephew helps out in the evenings after his school. We don't do any advertising. People just see the shop and stop because they are thirsty. We've had the same regulars for years. They come by for a quick drink and a bit of a chat before heading home. It’s a simple life and it keeps us going from morning until the shutters come down at night.
