We set up R K Medicals And Clinic over on Pozhichalur Main Road in Pammal. It’s at number 51. Most of the folks who live around here in Pammal know where we are. We have the pharmacy side of things and then the clinic part for when someone needs to see a professional. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us working behind the counter and in the rooms. The street outside can get quite dusty and noisy with all the bikes going by, but we keep the shop tidy enough. People come in for all sorts of things, maybe a pack of bandages or just to ask about a cough that won't go away. We aren't a big fancy hospital, just a local clinic that’s easy to get to. We try to keep the most common medicines in stock so people don't have to travel too far into the city. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, talking to neighbors and helping them find what they need. Sometimes we're running low on something and have to order it in, but we usually get it pretty quick. We like being in Pammal. It feels like a real community here. If you walk down Pozhichalur Main Road, you’ll see our sign out front. We just do our best to stay open and be there when someone in the neighborhood needs us. We've been at this spot for years.
