Pattern And Carpentry Works

Our workshop is at 1/11, Mugalivakkam Main Road, right in the heart of the Mugalivakkam Porur area. We have been doing carpentry and making patterns here for a long time. The shop is almost always covered in a layer of sawdust, no matter how much we sweep. We have some old woodworking machines that have been with us since we started. They aren't the newest models, but they work well for the patterns we need to make. We don't have a fancy showroom or a catalog. Most of the time, people just bring in a sketch or an idea, and we figure out how to build it from there. It’s a very hands-on job, and we usually end the day with wood shavings in our hair. The traffic on Mugalivakkam Main Road is always loud, but we like being right on the street where people can see us. We have a few regular customers from the neighborhood who stop by just to chat. We don’t have a website or any social media pages. We just rely on people seeing the work we do. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it suits us just fine. We don't use any fancy wood unless someone specifically asks for it. Mostly we just use what is practical for the project. We are just a local carpentry shop, and we like being part of the Porur community. It’s hard work, but we enjoy it. We usually close up when the sun goes down because the lighting isn't great inside. It is what it is.
