You can find us on Pallikoodathan Street in Kanchipuram, not far from the Akg Kalyana Mandapam. That hall is always busy with weddings, so it’s a good landmark to use. Our office is at 73/A No 28. It’s an old-school kind of place. We’ve been involved in building stuff around here for quite some time. We aren’t a huge company with hundreds of workers. It’s mostly just a core group of us who know how to get a wall up or a roof fixed. Construction is hard work and dusty, so we aren't usually dressed in anything nice. We spend a lot of time out at sites, but there’s always someone at the office to answer the phone or talk to neighbors. Kanchipuram is a small town at heart, so everyone knows everyone. We don’t do big presentations. We just show people what we’ve built and they decide if it’s what they want. It’s honest work. Sometimes things go wrong, a shipment is late or the rain stops us, but we deal with it. We like being part of this community. If you walk past the mandapam, you’ll see our door. It’s nothing special to look at, but we’re inside most days working through plans and checking on materials. It’s a bit of a mess with all the samples and bricks lying around. We just get on with it.
