Mohan

I go by Mohan and I’m located at 80-B on Nellukara Street in Kancheepuram. This town is famous for its temples and silk, but for me, it’s just the place where I live and work every day. My spot on Nellukara Street is right in the middle of things, so there is always the sound of bells and people passing by. It’s a busy street but I like the energy of it. I’ve stayed in Kancheepuram my whole life and I don't think I could ever get used to a big city like Chennai. Here, people still talk to each other and you can get things done with a simple conversation. My place isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a regular building where I handle my daily tasks. I don't have a team of people or a fancy website. It’s mostly just me making sure everything is taken care of. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the street a bit difficult to navigate, but that’s just part of living here. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. If you have work to do, you just do it. I like the routine of opening up in the morning and seeing the familiar faces of the neighbors. It’s a quiet life in a busy street, and that suits me just fine.
