Our office is located at Plot No.1/74 on the Ecr in Kottivakkam. Being near the coast is nice, though the salt air isn't very great for the electronics. Mohan architect Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for a good while. Most of the time, the tables are covered in site plans and half-finished cups of tea. We do not have a receptionist to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us hunched over a computer screen. We deal with all sorts of projects. Some are small, while others take many months to finish. We spend a lot of time driving out to sites to see how things are going. The traffic on Ecr can be pretty bad in the evenings, so we try to get our site visits done early. It is a lot of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the drawings right so the builders do not have a hard time later on. There is always something to fix or a measurement that needs to be rechecked. It can be stressful, but we like the challenge. We have gotten to know the people around Kottivakkam pretty well over the years. We keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the whole process. It is just us working through the piles of paperwork every day. We enjoy the work and the local neighborhood.
