Down here in Chromepet, we operate out of Manikam Nagar on Sarathy Street. It’s a busy part of Chennai, and we fit right in with the noise and the energy of the city. Our office at number 10/9 is a bit tucked away, but it’s where all the magic happens behind the scenes. We spend our days coordinating various infrastructure jobs across Tamil Nadu. It gets quite humid here, as anyone from Chennai knows, so the fans are always spinning in the office. We aren't much for formality. You’ll see the team wearing plain shirts and work boots most of the time. There is usually a pile of blueprints on the main table and a pot of coffee going somewhere. We’ve been here a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The street can be narrow, so parking the heavy vehicles is sometimes a bit of a puzzle we have to solve every morning. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you just find one of us sitting at a desk or talking on the phone about a site delivery. It’s a practical way to run things. We like being in Chromepet because it feels like a real community. People around here work hard, and we try to do the same. We don’t overthink things; we just take the tasks as they come.
