Master Sculptors & Architects

You can find us at 119, East Raja Street. It’s a narrow enough street and things can get pretty lively during the day. Master Sculptors & Architects sounds like a big name, but it’s really just a group of us who like making things and drawing up plans. There is always a layer of stone dust on everything in the shop. We have some old desks and a few drawing boards that have seen better days. Most of the time, someone is hammering away in the back while someone else is trying to get a drawing right. We don’t have a big front desk or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. East Raja Street is a good place for us because people know where to find us. We’ve done a lot of work for local projects, mostly stuff that people need for their houses or local buildings. It isn't always glamorous work. Sometimes we’re just fixing something that broke. We take it as it comes. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, which makes it pretty hot, but we have some fans going. It’s a workspace first and foremost. We don’t put on any acts. We just do the sculpting and the planning as requested by the folks who come in. We stay busy enough with whatever walks through the door, whether it is a small stone carving or some structural sketches.
