Being over here on Mount Poonamalee Road means we deal with a lot of dust and noise from the traffic every single day. Our office is at number 5/3 in Devi Nagar, right in the Porur area. It’s a busy spot but it works for us because we can get to our project sites pretty quickly from here. We aren't the type of builders who sit in suits all day. Most of us have boots that are always a bit dirty from walking around half-finished floors. We do a mix of planning and actual construction work, so there is always someone coming in to ask about a permit or a load of bricks that didn't show up on time. The office is a bit crowded with samples of tiles and bags of cement sometimes sitting in the corner. We started doing this because we know how to put things together. It isn’t about being the biggest name in Porur; it’s about making sure the walls are straight and the roof doesn’t leak. We’ve had some long days here, especially when the rains hit and we have to figure out how to keep the work moving. If you drop by, you’ll probably see us looking at a big map of the local area or talking to a guy about plumbing. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just build things.
