L&T Power Limited

Down at 12 Construction Mount on Poonamallee Road, things are always moving. L&T Power Limited is based here in Manapakkam, and if you’ve ever driven past this way, you know the traffic can be a real nightmare. Our office is right in the thick of it. We spend a lot of time looking at plans and dealing with all the stuff that goes into keeping the lights on elsewhere. It’s a big operation, but inside it’s just a bunch of us sitting at desks or heading out to different sites. The building at Construction Mount has been our home base for quite some time now. Some days are slower than others, filled with meetings that seem to go on forever, while other days we’re all rushing around trying to meet a deadline. There’s a small shop down the street where most of us grab lunch when we don’t bring something from home. It’s not exactly a quiet life working in power, but it feels good to be part of something that actually matters for the city. We’ve seen Manapakkam change a lot over the years from the windows of this building. There’s always some new construction going up nearby, which keeps things interesting. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand, making sure everything is running like it should. It’s a lot of work, but someone has to do it.
