Leo Bags

Leo Bags is at No. 90 on the Medavakkam Main Road in Ullagram. We are very close to the Oil Mill bus stop, so it’s easy for people to find us if they are taking the bus. The road outside is always loud with buses and bikes zooming past. Inside the shop, it’s a bit different. It’s filled with the smell of new bags and leather. We have racks and racks of bags for school, work, and travel. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have some old fans that wobble a bit when they are on high speed. We spend our afternoons organizing the stock and talking to people who stop in while waiting for their bus. It’s a small operation. We do all the cleaning and the heavy lifting ourselves. Sometimes the shop feels too small for all the bags we have, so we have to stack them high up near the ceiling. We know most of the regular commuters who pass by every day. We don't have any flashy advertisements. Just our name on the board outside. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, sell some bags, and go home. We like the location because there is always something happening on the main road. It keeps the day from getting boring.
