Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Ecc Division

Our spot is located at number 47 in the N.G.O. Colony in Chromepet. It’s a busy part of Chennai, and we have been tucked away here for a good while now. Being part of the ECC Division means we are usually tied up with various bits of construction and engineering stuff that comes through Tamil Nadu. The colony itself is fairly quiet, which is a nice change from the main roads of Chennai that are always jammed. Inside the office, we have a small team working. Mostly, it's just us handling the day-to-day coordination. Passersby often head to the nearby shops while we stay inside looking at blueprints or talking on the phone to site managers. Even though the building is older, it serves us well enough for what we need to do. No big signs or anything too loud are needed here. Neighbors know we are around just by seeing the vehicles parked outside. Organization is the goal, but in a busy office, papers tend to pile up on the desks. Working here is a very normal experience. Tea breaks happen together when there is a gap in the schedule. That's how things go here in Chromepet. After so many years in this specific spot, it really feels like home. The traffic in Chromepet can be a real headache in the mornings, but once we are inside the office, it’s all about the work.
