We are based at 12 Vadivel Naicken Street in the Japer Khan Pettai area of Ashok Nagar, Chennai. The office is care of C. Venketesan. This is a typical residential and commercial mix in Chennai. The street is quite narrow and can get very congested with two-wheelers. Our office is a simple building that feels very much like a home. It is situated in the 600089 postal zone. Inside, it is usually quite warm, as is typical for Tamil Nadu, so the fans are always on the highest setting. We have several rooms that are packed with desks, computers, and rolls of engineering drawings. It is a bit of a maze with all the files we have accumulated over the years. We don't have a fancy reception area. People just walk in and find whoever they need to talk to. The staff often brings their lunch in stainless steel tiffins, and the smell of sambar fills the place around noon. We are right in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle. The office is a practical hub for managing the various project sites around Chennai. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the field teams and the local authorities from here. It is not a shiny corporate office, but it is functional and gets the job done. We have been here for a long time and have become a small part of the local neighborhood fabric.
