Kyg Foundation

We are set up at 9 Mahavir Nagar in Nasarath Pettai. Kanchipuram is famous for many things, but we are just a small part of the daily life here in the 631501 area. Our foundation isn't anything fancy. It’s a simple building where we gather to handle local matters. We started this because we saw things that needed attention right on our own streets. Most days, you’ll find one or two of us at the desk, probably drinking coffee and looking over old ledgers. We don't have a big budget or a huge staff. We just use what we have to help out where it's needed. The traffic in Kancheepuram can be tough, but we manage to get around. It feels good to be based in a place where everyone knows each other’s names. We aren't trying to be a big corporation. We just want to do our bit for the town. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk. Those are actually the times we get our best ideas. We keep things honest and straightforward. No one here is looking for fame. We just want to make sure the work gets done. If you walk down Mahavir Nagar, you’ll see our door. It’s a bit old, but it works fine for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand.
