We are out here in the Sipcot Industrial Apparels Park, specifically at units K 33 and K 34. Keenwin Apparels Pvt Ltd has been operating from this spot in Irrungattukottai for a while. Sriperumpudur is a busy hub, and being in the Kancheepuram district means there's always something going on around the park. It's a large space, which we need for the clothes. Every day is pretty much the same routine of getting things ready and making sure the production line stays on track. It gets pretty hot in this part of the country, but we just get on with it. There are a lot of other factories nearby, so the whole area feels very industrial. We aren't really the type to talk much about ourselves, we just focus on the garments. The address might seem like a mouthful but once you're in the park, it's easy enough to find the K block. We’ve got a lot of people working here, mostly locals from the surrounding villages. It’s a lot of work keeping up with everything, but it's what we do. We don't have a big corporate office or anything, just the units where the actual work happens. It’s plain and simple. We just make clothes and try to stay busy. Sometimes the machines act up or the fabric is late, but that’s just part of the daily grind. We keep moving forward regardless of the small setbacks.
