Our place is over at Door No 708, though the new number is 13 on Road Street in Kundrathur. Kaira Agricultural Machinery Llp is where we keep all the equipment and parts. It’s a lot of metal and grease around here most days. We deal with tractors, tillers, and whatever else the farmers nearby might need to get their fields ready for planting. My hands are usually dirty from checking parts or moving things around the shop floor. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always a motor running or someone shouting over a machine to be heard. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We just know that when a machine breaks down, the work stops, so we try to get things sorted as fast as we can. The street outside can get pretty cramped with delivery trucks coming in. We've been at this for a while now. Some days are slow, just cleaning up and organizing tools, and other days everyone needs something fixed at the exact same time. We talk to a lot of people from the surrounding villages who come in looking for specific parts or just some advice on what gear works best for their specific patch of land. We don't have a big office staff or anyone in a suit. It’s just us and the machinery. It gets very hot in the shed during the summer, but we manage. If you’re looking for us, look for the big doors.
