Jayabharatham Furniture

You can find Jayabharatham Furniture on the first floor of No 7/20-A. We are located on the Fourth Main Road in Nanganallur, which is a fairly quiet part of the city compared to the center. The big landmark for us is the State Bank of India, which is right nearby. Since we are on the first floor, customers have to walk up the stairs to see what we have. This makes it a bit tricky when we have to move big dining tables or wardrobes down to the delivery van. We usually have to get a few extra guys to help with the lifting. The shop floor is filled with different sets of wooden furniture. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets crowded when a new shipment arrives. The windows look out onto the main road, and we can see the queue at the bank from here. Most of our customers are people who live in the apartments around Nanganallur. We spend a lot of time just dusting the furniture and moving pieces around to make more room. It is a family-run kind of feel here. We don't use any big computers for our accounts, just a simple ledger book most of the time. It is a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We just stay here and wait for the regulars to stop by and check out what is new in the shop.
