Indoo Furniture

Our shop, Indoo Furniture, is located on Arcot Road in Porur. It’s pretty easy to spot because we are right near the Porur Telephone Exchange. If you have ever driven down this road, you know how the traffic can get, especially during the rush hours. We spend a lot of our time moving things around the showroom to make space for new items coming in. There are sofas, beds, and tables everywhere you look. It’s not one of those super modern shops with bright lights; it feels more like a place where people actually live. We have been here for a while, and the neighbors mostly know us by name now. The staff here has been working together for years, so we all know who is supposed to be doing what. Sometimes the dust from Arcot Road gets inside, and we have to keep cleaning the glass surfaces. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us showing up in the morning, opening the shutters, and helping whoever walks through the door. People usually come in with measurements scribbled on pieces of paper, trying to figure out if a wardrobe will fit in their bedroom. We just show them what we have and let them decide. No one is going to follow you around trying to force a sale. We just stay here until the evening when the street gets quiet.
