Hospira Healthcare is located within the Sipcot Industrial Park at Irrungattukottai, specifically at units B3 through B6. If you’ve ever been to Sriperumbudur, you know how massive this industrial area is. We are situated near the Hwashin Plant 2, which is a good landmark for finding us in this huge complex. The environment here is very different from a city office. It’s all about large factory sheds, wide roads, and the heat of the Tamil Nadu sun. Our facility is dedicated to healthcare manufacturing, so cleanliness is a big thing inside, even if the world outside is dusty. We have a lot of people working here, and you’ll see the company buses coming and going at shift changes. It’s a very organized way of living. Inside, the machines are modern, but the work is still done by real people who have to stand on their feet for long hours. We don't have much in the way of decorative gardens or fancy facades. It’s a functional place meant for production and making sure shipments are ready. The canteen is usually buzzing with talk during the breaks. We have people from all the neighboring villages and towns working together. It’s a long commute for some, but this park is where the jobs are. We just focus on the production schedules and making sure the quality stays where it needs to be. It’s a busy, hot, and hardworking place to be.
