Our facility is based out at number 35 in Kunnam Village, right along the Sunguvachatram-walajabad Rd in Sriperumbdur. It’s a fairly large space because we need the room for all the electrical enclosures and distribution boards we handle. The road outside gets quite busy with heavy trucks heading towards the main highway. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of metal being worked on and fans blowing to keep the air moving. We’ve got a mix of office staff and floor workers, all trying to keep things on schedule. It can get a bit stressful when a big order comes in, but we usually manage to get through it. The village atmosphere is still there, even with all the industry around. We’ve been here for a while and have seen more factories pop up nearby. The canteen food is okay, mostly just the usual stuff. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty. It’s a functional building meant for industrial work. Most of our days are spent checking specs and making sure the wiring inside the boxes is right. It’s repetitive, but you have to be careful with electricity. We just do our bit and go home at the end of the day like everyone else. Sometimes we have to stay late when the transport trucks are delayed, but that’s just how the business goes.
