Grasium Industries Ltd

We are located down in Chrompet, Chennai, on Nagappa Nagar’s 1st Main Road. The plot number is 48. If you have been to Chennai, you know how the humidity hits you the moment you step outside. Our office is no different. We have the ceiling fans going at full speed all day long just to keep the air moving. The street outside is fairly narrow, so parking a car can be a real headache sometimes. Most of us just come on bikes. The building is an older style, typical for this part of the city. We do our work for Grasium Industries from a couple of rooms that stay mostly quiet during the afternoons. In the mornings, it is a lot busier with people dropping off papers or asking questions about deliveries. We have a small porch where people wait if the office is too full. There is a jasmine seller who sits near the corner, and the smell sometimes drifts in when the wind is right. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is mostly just calendars and a clock that ticks a bit too loudly. We speak a mix of Tamil and English here while we get through the chores of the day. It is a simple setup, and we have been in this spot for quite a while now. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood.
