Expeditors International India Ltd

Expeditors International India Ltd is based at No-35 Mudhaliyar St in Kancheepuram. Most people think of silk when they hear about this town, but we’re here doing the logistics side of things. Our office is on a regular street, and it doesn’t look like much from the outside. Inside, we have our desks and some maps on the walls. We handle a lot of international paperwork, which means a lot of clicking on keyboards and long phone calls. The pincode here is 603308. It’s a bit different from the big city offices in Chennai, but we prefer the pace here. We know the local tea stall owner and the people living next door. The work involves a lot of coordinating between different ports and airports. It’s not always exciting, and there is a lot of waiting for emails to come back from different time zones. We just keep at it, one shipment at a time. The office can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of files to go through, but we make it work. We aren't here to make big promises. We just do the clerical and logistical work that keeps things moving. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do their jobs right every single day.
