Evolution Designers

We are based in Perungalathur on VOC Street. Our building is No 8/11 and we are located right behind Akash Bhavan. It’s a busy little area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out getting food. Our work revolves around designing spaces, mostly for local houses and small offices. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the drawings and managing the site work. The office is simple, filled with folders and rolls of building plans. We spend a good chunk of our day on the phone trying to coordinate with painters, carpenters, and electricians. It can be a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when a delivery is late, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t use a lot of big words to explain what we do. We just look at a space and tell you what we think would work there. Sometimes we agree with the owner, sometimes we have to explain why a certain wall can't be moved. It’s all very direct. We like being in Perungalathur because it’s growing fast and there’s always something new being built nearby. We usually have tea from the shop down the street while we go over the day’s tasks. It’s a regular routine, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now. We just get on with it and try to finish things properly.
