Diamond Engineering (P) Ltd.

We are located at 179 on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, right in the Sholinganallur area. It is a very busy stretch of road, and the traffic outside is almost always at a complete standstill. Inside our gates, it is a different kind of busy. We have the engineering side of things going on, which means a lot of blueprints, metal parts, and people walking around with clipboards and pens. The sun gets really hot here in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay focused on the tasks at hand. It isn't a fancy corporate setup with glass walls. We have a lot of tools lying around and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings or oil spots. Most of the staff have been with us since we first started, so we are a pretty tight group. We don't spend much time on marketing or trying to look polished for photos. We would much rather just get the engineering right. If a part isn't fitting correctly, we stay until we figure out why and fix it. Sometimes that means late nights and a lot of tea to stay awake. Sholinganallur has grown so much around us with all the new tech parks, but we just keep doing what we have always done. It is practical work for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We just take one order at a time.
