Our place is located at 151/4, Mount Poonamallee Road in Ramapuram. Delta Shoes Pvt. Ltd. has been running from this spot for quite a long time now. When you step inside, you can usually smell the leather and the adhesives right away. It is the smell of a place where things are actually being made. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright spotlights or glass displays. It is more of a working factory and an office combined together. There are boxes of finished shoes stacked up high in the corners and the steady sound of machines humming in the back. We spend our days looking over designs, checking that the soles are attached properly, and making sure the stitching is strong enough to last. It is physical work, and the building can get quite warm during the summer months. We are not the type of company that puts out glossy advertisements. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years or who have seen our products around. We have a team of workers who have been here for a long time, and they understand shoes better than anyone else. We keep things simple and very practical. If a shoe is not comfortable or durable, we do not want to put our name on it. We just stay busy here in Ramapuram and keep the production line moving.
