D'arc Designers

D'arc Designers is located on Velachery Road in Tambaram East. We are right by the Apollo Pharmacy, so it’s a landmark most people in the area know well. We’ve been working out of this office for a while now. It’s a busy part of town, which keeps us on our toes. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our computers and a whole lot of paper. We do design work, mostly for residential buildings and some small commercial spots. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and focus on the drawings. A lot of our time is spent talking to clients about what they need and then trying to figure out how to make that work within their budget. We aren't big on promotional talk or trying to sound more important than we are. We just enjoy the process of designing things and seeing them actually get built. The team here is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. From site visits to the actual drafting, there’s never a dull moment. We like being in Tambaram East because it feels like a real community. We get to know the people we work for, and that makes the job a lot more interesting than just sitting in a cubicle all day. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we manage to get our work done regardless.
