Running Cool Wind Scientific Systems from the Sidco Women Industrial Park in Thirumullaivoyal keeps us pretty busy. We are tucked away at Plot No T-316, which is part of Kattur Village. Chennai weather is usually hot, so being in an industrial park means there isn't much shade when you're walking between the buildings. Our space is mostly full of equipment and parts that we use for our daily setups. We are just a group of people who enjoy the technical side of things. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us going. Most days involve a lot of checking and re-checking things to make sure they are right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is important to us that we don't rush through the steps. We have our tea breaks in the mid-morning and that’s usually when we talk about what needs to get finished by the end of the week. The industrial park has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over time. People around here know us as the ones who stay late when the work piles up. We keep our office fairly basic because we spend most of our time out on the floor or dealing with the technical stuff. It’s a practical setup that works for the kind of stuff we handle every day. We just get on with it.
