Our office is tucked away in G / 406 Bhoomi Classic on Malad Link Road. If you know Malad West in Mumbai, you know the traffic can be a real nightmare, especially during monsoon season. Citigroup Global Services has a lot of people working in different places, but this is where our little group handles things. It’s a typical Mumbai office setup. We’ve got our desks, our computers, and a small area for lunch where we all sit and talk about our weekends or complain about the train commute. We handle a lot of the backend stuff that people don't really see when they look at a big bank. It’s mostly data, numbers, and making sure the systems are running like they should. It’s not the kind of job you see in movies, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do here. We just come in, do the work, and try to get home before the stations get too crowded. The building itself is okay, nothing too special, just a place to get the job done. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking on their headsets at once, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our part in the big machine of global services. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time, making sure we don't miss anything important.
