Chennai Leather Fashions

Chennai Leather Fashions is located at No. 3 on 4th Street in Magr Nagar, which is over in Pammal. It is a small street, but we have enough room to do what we need. Leather work is a bit different from regular clothes; it has a specific smell and feel that stays with you all day. We are pretty used to it by now. The neighborhood in Pammal is mostly residential, so 4th Street stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. We have our tools and benches set up inside No. 3. It’s a bit of a lived-in space. There are scrapes on the floor and stacks of material in the corners. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If someone comes by, they just talk to whoever is closest to the door. Working in Magr Nagar is alright. We have the local shops nearby if we need a quick break or some supplies. Chennai Leather Fashions has a steady routine. We start early to beat the worst of the heat. It’s simple, honest work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a leather business in Pammal, keeping busy and making sure we get through the day's tasks without too much fuss. Sometimes the leather is tough to work with, but we have the right tools and we just take our time to get it right. That is how we have always done it.
