Our office is right here in Nandambakkam at 46, Palani Murugan Towers. It is located on Mount Poonamalle Road, pretty much exactly opposite the CTC. If you have ever been in this part of town during rush hour, you know the traffic is something else. We spend most of our days here dealing with tubes. It is a busy place, but not in a flashy way. The office itself is just a regular room filled with desks, some old filing cabinets, and way too many stacks of paper. My desk is usually a bit of a mess because there is always something going on. We do not have any fancy lobby or a bunch of people in suits. It is just a few of us making sure the orders are processed and the stock is where it should be. We have been in this building for quite a while now. You can see the neighborhood changing from our window, with new shops opening up all the time. Sometimes the lift in the towers is slow, so we just take the stairs to get things moving. It is honest work and we just focus on getting through the daily tasks without much fuss. We do not do big sales pitches or anything like that. People know where we are if they need us. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking the latest inventory lists. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of spot.
