Bhattarams

We’ve been set up here at W-8 in the Vsi Estate for quite some time now. Thiruvanmiyur is a pretty active area, and being right in the middle of it keeps us on our toes. Most of our mornings start the same way, someone makes a pot of coffee and we look at what’s on the schedule for the day. It’s not a flashy setup with fancy furniture or anything. We just have what we need to get the job done. The desks are usually covered in notebooks and pens because we still like writing things down. Some of the folks here have been around since the beginning, while a few newer faces have joined us recently. It’s a good mix. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the week. Some days are loud with people talking and phones ringing, and other days it’s just the sound of typing. We try to keep the place tidy, but when things get busy, a bit of a mess is bound to happen. We know the people in the offices next door and usually wave when we see them. That’s the nice thing about being in this estate. Our sign is out front but it’s simple. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big displays. We just want to do our work well and then head home. No big speeches or complicated rules here. We just talk to each other and figure things out as they come up. That’s really all there is to Bhattarams.
