Arkay Leathers (P) Ltd.

Our place is at 106, G.S.T. Road in Chrompet, right across from the T.T.K. Maps Company. It’s a busy road, so there's always traffic buzzing past the front door. Arkay Leathers (P) Ltd. is a small setup, mostly just us dealing with various leather materials. We’ve been in Chrompet for a good bit now, and most of the locals know where we are. The shop front isn't anything special to look at, but it gets the job done. Inside, the smell of leather is pretty strong, which you get used to after five minutes. We spend the day sorting through hides and checking the quality. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when a big shipment arrives and we have to find space for everything. We don't really use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some samples. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. We just focus on the leather. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to worry about that. It’s just a regular workplace where people show up and do their jobs every day. We like the neighborhood, even with all the noise from the main road.
