If you are looking for us, we are at Number 62 on 1st Street in Sheela Nagar. We are quite close to the Sree Kalyana Sundarar Vinayagar Temple in Madipakkam. It is a nice landmark to give people because otherwise, these streets can look a bit similar. The office is a fairly simple setup. We spend our days drafting designs and trying to come up with practical solutions for the spaces people have. It is not always about making things look pretty; a lot of the time we are just trying to make sure the kitchen is in the right place or the ventilation actually works. There is a small group of us here, and we have grown used to the sounds of the temple and the local traffic. We do not have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just turn up, look at the projects on our boards, and try to get the lines straight. Sometimes the printer acts up or we run out of ink right when we need to finish a set of plans, which is always annoying. We do a lot of residential work for families in the area. It is nice because we get to know the people we are drawing for. It is a quiet, steady kind of life here in Madipakkam, and we are happy enough with that. We just focus on the drawings and let the work speak for itself.
