Aravind Sai Eye Hospital

Down on Ganesan Street in Krishna Nagar, you will find Aravind Sai Eye Hospital at New No 1. Pammal is a growing area, and we have seen a lot of changes around here since we first opened our doors. The street can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a bit of a puzzle for our visitors, but people usually make it work. Our hospital is a modest place. We do not have a giant lobby or a coffee shop inside. It is just a set of rooms where we do eye exams and help people with their glasses or other needs. The staff is a small group. We all do a bit of everything, from filing papers to helping the doctors out. It creates a very informal atmosphere. We do not wear stiff uniforms or use a lot of medical jargon when we talk to patients. We just explain things as they are. The building itself is kept tidy, though it is clearly a working space and not a showroom. We get a lot of elderly folks from the neighborhood who have been coming here since they were younger. It is nice to see familiar faces every day. We do not try to be the biggest hospital around, we just want to be the one that people on Ganesan Street can rely on. It is a simple life working here in Krishna Nagar.
