Akarsh Specalities

Akarsh Specalities operates out of the Sidco Industrial Estate in Thirumudivakkam. Our units are 275 and 276. It’s a pretty large industrial zone, and there is always some kind of machine noise in the background. We have been here for a while, and we’ve seen the estate grow over the years. Our work is quite specific, and we spend most of our hours on the shop floor making sure things are running the way they should. It is a lot of manual work and checking parts. The commute out to Thirumudivakkam can be a bit of a stretch for some of the guys, but we all show up and get to it. We don't have a reception area with coffee or anything like that. It’s just an industrial unit with some desks tucked in the corner for the paperwork. We deal with a lot of different materials throughout the week. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we sort it out eventually. It is just a regular workplace where people work hard. We don't really go for the corporate look. We have grease on our hands and a lot of stuff to move around. It is just the way we do things here at the estate. The days are long, but we feel good when the work is finished properly and the trucks are loaded up for the night.
