Aic-Great Lakes Balachandran Foundation

We are located over in Kandanchavadi at Prince Info City II on Rajiv Gandhi Salai. Our specific spot is 283/284. It’s a pretty large building and sometimes it feels a bit like a maze trying to find the right door. The office is very much a functional space. We’ve got rows of desks and a lot of wires running everywhere for the computers. It’s not a place where we worry much about how things look. We just need it to be a place where we can get through our tasks. The OMR is always buzzing outside, so there’s a constant hum of traffic. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle and some tea bags for breaks. Most days are just spent looking at screens or talking about the projects we have going on. It’s a foundation office, but it feels like any other small business in this part of Chennai. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and we’re all there working. The lighting is a bit bright and the chairs could probably be more comfortable, but they do the job. We’ve been here for a bit and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. It’s just where we show up and do our bit every day without making a big deal of it. It works for us and the people we help out.
