Adiram & Company

We’ve been here at Adiram & Company for a while now, tucked away near Kanniyavaram Post on 2nd Main Road. Most people just walk by if they aren't looking for us. It’s a busy enough spot, especially when the mail comes in. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the paperwork. It gets a bit dusty in the office sometimes, but we manage. My cousin helped out here for a few years before moving on. The building has seen better days, honestly. There is a small tea shop down the road where we usually go around four in the afternoon. People ask what we do exactly, and it’s mostly just handling the day-to-day requirements that come through the door. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. Just staying busy. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains hard, which is a bit of a pain. We just wait for it to come back on. The 2nd Main Road gets quite crowded during the morning rush. Most of our neighbors are pretty quiet. We’ve known the family next door for decades. It’s just how things go around here. If you find yourself near the post office, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun. That’s okay, though. Everyone knows where we are if they need something. We just keep things moving, one day at a time. Nothing fancy about it.
