T I Metal Forming India Ltd is located at 80/81 in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Kakkalur. Being out in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. Our place is quite large because of the nature of metal forming work. There are big machines that take up most of the floor space. The sound of metal being shaped is constant throughout the day. It’s a noisy and hot environment, but that’s just how industrial work is. The staff comes in early, often arriving by bus or on their own scooters. We have a small office area near the front gate for the administrative side of things, but most of the action is in the sheds. We don't have any flashy displays or a showroom for visitors. If someone comes to see us, they usually have to wear a safety helmet and walk through the production lines. The trucks are always coming and going, either bringing in raw material or taking out the finished parts. Kakkalur can be quite dusty, and the wind blows through the open doors of the factory. We keep a few water stations around for the workers because of the heat. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have a lot of meetings or corporate events. We just focus on the production schedule and making sure the machines are running as they should be.
