Monisha Nursery And Primary School

Rendadi is a small place, and our school sits right on the Main Road. If you’re traveling through this part of Vellore, you’ve probably passed us. We handle both nursery and primary students, so the ages range from three up to about ten or eleven. The school isn't very large, just a few rooms where we fit the different classes. Being on the main road means there’s always some traffic noise, but the kids are usually louder than the buses. The interior is pretty simple. We have posters of the alphabet and numbers on the walls, and the floors are easy to clean because the kids are always bringing in dirt from outside. In the 631102 area, people know each other, so we often see former students who are now in high school waving as they pass by. Our days start early with the cleaning of the classrooms before the first batch of kids arrives. We don't have a big cafeteria, so everyone brings their own lunch boxes and we eat together in the rooms or under the shade outside. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have big budgets for marketing or fancy decorations, so we focus on the textbooks and making sure the kids understand their lessons. It’s just a local school trying to provide a decent start for the children in Rendadi without any unnecessary fuss.
