Clinic/Home

Our place is at 39 Subrayanst, and it functions as both a clinic and a home for us. This means the atmosphere is very personal and not like those cold, sterile offices you see in the big city. The street is a regular residential one, so you might hear dogs barking or neighbors calling out to each other while you are here. I usually keep the front door open during the day to let the breeze through, unless it’s raining hard. Inside, the furniture is a bit older but it’s comfortable enough for sitting. We have our living quarters in the back, and the front rooms are where we see people who need our help. It’s a small space, so we have to stay very organized or things get messy quickly. I do the cleaning myself every morning before anyone arrives. There isn't a receptionist or anything like that; usually, one of us just comes to the door when we hear someone walk in. The walls have a few pictures on them, and we keep a small lamp on the table for when it gets dark in the late afternoon. It’s a very simple way of doing things, and it works for us. People in the neighborhood know the address well, so we don't need much more than the number 39 on the gate. We just try to stay helpful and keep the routine going.
