Chefs On Demand Llp

Chefs On Demand Llp operates out of an apartment in Perungudi. We are in Block 2, Flat A9, at the Appaswamy City Square complex on OMR. It’s a bit unusual running things from an apartment, but it works for what we do. We spend most of our time coordinating with different kitchens and people who need help with cooking. It gets pretty busy around lunch and dinner time, as you can imagine. The phones are always ringing and someone is usually running out the door to meet a client. Nehru Nagar is a good spot because it’s close to a lot of the action on OMR. We aren't a big fancy agency with a marble lobby. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table with laptops and lists of names. Sometimes the internet goes out or the lift in the building breaks, and we just have to deal with it. We started this because we knew a lot of people who were good at cooking but didn't have a steady way to find work. Now we just try to bridge that gap. It’s not perfect, and we make mistakes like everyone else, but we try to fix them quickly. The space is a bit cramped with all the paperwork, but it’s ours. We just want to keep the local chefs working and the customers fed without too much drama.
